Labour
Over and above the cost of flowers, labour will be costed to take into account the preproduction of flowers and foliage including sourcing of stock and delivery coordination; preparation and conditioning of stock; the creation of the floral pieces and any onsite installation work that is required. This work is charged at $55 per hour.
Delivery
Costed separately once details on delivery addresses and venue have been confirmed.
Why do flowers cost so much?
As seasons change so does flower availability. Where possible stock is sourced locally plus we use use Brisbane flower wholesalers who purchase stock from around Australia and overseas.
Please be aware that the man/woman power, along with the transport logistics to get a bunch of flowers to their final destination looking as ‘fresh as a daisy’ all contribute to the cost of flowers.
Next Steps
The costs outlined in this worksheet are based on the most commonly requested items. I’m always happy to provide recommendations and suggestions based on your budget, preferences and venue no matter how simple or elaborate your wedding flower vision is.
Now that you have an idea of what you budget might be, the next step is to meet with me in person, or virtually, so I can get to know you, ask you questions and provide you with a formal quote for your wedding flowers which complement your overall styling.
